You don’t owe people the person you used to be. You don’t have to talk to people who are speaking to the old you. If they want to drag old you out, and you’ve already left that person behind, they don’t get to talk to you. When you’ve gone from weakness to strength, you don’t owe a show of your former self to someone who just can’t wrap their head around your change.

No! I was standing up for you :/ I was saying you people to the anons being rude to you. Like the sjw comments and all the other mean things they keep posting. Gomennasai for the misunderstanding. :(

honestly, I have no idea what message that i wrote that you are referring to but thanks for sticking up for me.

Me, reacting TI’s thoughts on Ferguson as published to Instagram. I’m really tired of these celebrities rearing their ugly heads in response to Ferguson. Would it be too much to stand in support of your own? Would it be too much for you to research what is happening in the city instead of just running with the slanderous and misinformed media narrative?

Here are a couple of GREAT efforts being put on by the community in support of Ferguson. Support where you can and please spread the word!

1. Shaun King has started a petition outlining 5 policy solutions our government can pursue in order to protect citizens from police violence and brutality. The goal is to get 1,000,000 signatures and the petition has received 207,000 signatures in the first week! PLEASE SIGN AND SHARE THE PETITION.

2. #OperationHelpOrHush is a grassroot group working on the ground on Ferguson by providing food, first aid, bail assistance, and safety supplies to people in the town. Click here for contact information and donation information. You can also purchase a tee shirt to support their work.

3. As always, continue to post, re-blog, and re-tweet any stories that come across your TL. Social media was the main driver in bring Mike Brown’s story to the national media and I am confident that our presence will continue to be a force to be reckoned with. We can change things as so long as we are brave enough to share ourselves and the things that matter.
